Version 4.1.1

Written by TommyB

Changes/Adjustments

  • The server is now running on the latest open.mp server backend. While it should operate the same as the SA-MP server did, there's a chance some things may break during this transitional period. Please report any weirdness or bugs that you see.
  • /mask now requires player level 3 to use.
  • Improved the logic for loading weed plant growth data when house furniture is loaded.

Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where an inventory item deletion wouldn't trigger the inventory item loss event, causing things like fishing crates to be stuck on players when the item was discarded or sold.
  • Fixed an issue where /mixdrug didn't actually add to the drug mixture.
  • Fixed an issue where crack cook labels would get stuck if the pot was removed while a cook was in progress.

  • Fixed an issue where spawnables could revert to the incorrect position when cancelling object editing.
  • Fixed an issue where selecting a bone to holster a weapon to in /holster was off by one, causing weapons to attach to the wrong bone.
  • Fixed an issue where weapons created from weapon crate runs were created with the incorrect type.
  • Fixed some conflicting custom model IDs that resulted in some custom garage door models not appearing properly.

New Features

  • Added /spawn. This command can be used to temporarily spawn a curated list of temporary objects to enhance in-game scenarios.
  • Added /hold. This command functions similarly to /spawn but is used for items that are held in the player's hand instead of placed on the map.
  • Overhauled the siren system with better sirens, created courtesy of Spooky. These sirens look better and light up the environment properly.
  • Added a flashlight to electronic stores. This flashlight can be held and toggled on/off with H and will light up the environment

Changes/Adjustments

  • /helpers will now show when helpers are AFK.
  • A bright flash will now appear when taking photographs with the game's camera "weapon".
  • Improved the detection of the three fishing methods. (on-foot, reefer, personal boat)
  • Significantly improved the error messages that appear when trying to use /fish.

  • Improved commands for admins to view nearby graffiti tags and temporary objects.

Version 4.0.3

Written by TommyB

New Features

  • Added a new account setting in /settings that allows players to pick a default character to automatically spawn after logging in. This will let people skip the character selection step entirely if they only have one character they want to play. Using /logout will still bring up the full character selection menu.

Changes/Adjustments

  • The fishing crate system has been updated and the fishing crate itself is now an inventory item. This means the crate must now be stored in the boat's "trunk" in order to be accessible. It also means the crate will no longer despawn or disappear if a player quits while carrying it since it's the same as any other inventory item. It should also mean crates won't disappear for no reason due to poorly written legacy code.
  • Trucking sidejob routes now have a 30 minute cooldown to prevent people from spamming the same easy jobs over and over again.
  • Street names have been expanded to the Bone County region where they were previously absent.

Fixes

  • Attempted to fix an issue where using a specific female skin would cause players to show up as CJ's skin for others.
  • Attempted to fix an issue where sidejob checkpoints and map icons didn't appear properly when the server was experiencing high player counts.
  • Fixed an issue where fishing crates didn't attach visible objects to boats when they were set up.
  • Fixed an issue where shouting could sometimes send error messages when near too many buildings.
  • Fixed an issue where using /reloadhouse on a single house would result in the house not actually being loaded again.
  • Fixed an issue where inventory items and any prison-only weapons were wiped from inmates upon logging in.
  • Fixed an issue where taking a home off of the Silver Trading home listings would temporarily give the player back the wrong home.
  • Fixed an issue where the /examine dialog box would show to wrong user.

Version 4.0.2

Written by TommyB

New Features

  • The script will now detect when players fall under the game's map and beam them back up to safety.
  • The Bike, BMX and Mountain Bike have been added to the bike dealership.

Changes/Adjustments

  • Added an extra waving animation and organized them all under /wave.
  • Improved collision detection when playing pool. While still not perfect, the large gap where balls could collide should be significantly reduced.
  • Vehicles will no longer be immediately destroyed when they come into contact with water. Instead, they'll simply sink down to the bottom and can be recovered without needing to spend money.
  • Players will only be notified of potentially read PMs once when unpausing their game instead of multiple times.

Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where the /editattributes dialog could not be closed.
  • Fixed an issue where the Primo was missing from vehicle dealerships and was incorrectly listed as a Premier.
  • Fixed an issue where putting a home into the Silver Trading Home Listings would insert the incorrect house ID, causing players to receive the wrong house when buying or removing their home from the marketplace.
  • Fixed an issue where phone numbers were not listed correctly in the MDC.
  • Fixed an issue where /searchcommand and /searchadmincommand results were sometimes populated with duplicated entries.

  • Fixed an issue where RCFD unit tags did not work as intended.
